The "Forgotten" People
In the mid 1940's, the D'Abreau Foundation's founder began her fight to help sufferers of leprosy (Hansen's Disease) in Trinidad. Because of her determination, the foundation supplied drugs, medical and social rehabilitation and contributed to public education and awareness of leprosy.
